When I got serious about pumping iron, I was up for using any supplement I could get my hands on, no matter what it looked like or tasted like.
To be honest, when you are consuming something a couple times a day, to make sure you stay on track, it has to taste good.
Monster Milk is one of the best supplements I’ve found as far as the nutritional value, but I had a problem with the taste. It was quite plain so I created a recipe to actually make the supplement healthier and, most importantly, taste better.
First, I took the Monster Milk and combined it with bananas, low-fat vanilla yogurt and water and added it all to a blender. Blend until smooth and consume immediately so that it does not separate. If you wanted to make it cold, simply add some ice cubes or substitute frozen yogurt for the low-fat vanilla yogurt. This greatly improves the taste of the supplement without adding anything that is not nutritional.
The other way that I prepare Monster Milk is to add carob powder, bananas and chocolate flavored frozen yogurt. This one is thick and it fills you up really well. Simply combine all the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth and consume immediately.
These two recipes have helped me stay on track and make gains throughout the year. The truth is, when your dietary supplement tastes good, it helps you look forward to it. Further, it tells your body to be satisfied and not to snack on food that is unhealthy or a detriment to your workout.
For people who are serious about building muscle and working out and seeing results, they have to find a supplemental habit that works for them. These modifications to Monster Milk make it more healthy and easier to consume several times a day.
